I finished it! That last episode was trippy 
I chose to sacrifice Chloe and save arcadia but I cant help but feel like what was the point of her traveling time? Nothing changed except she got to hang out with chloe again. I feel like everything revolving around the murders would have been found out regardless.

ah man the nightmare sequence freaked me out!
with the ending, i picked the same, and it quite clear that it's presented as the better option; i watched the other one and it was a bit disappointing
I'm hoping that whatever they do for season 2, whether it's entirely new characters, or some sort of continuation with max, will hopefully explain that. It really left quite up in the air
