Speaking on the topic of zombies in history, there's a little comic book series called FUBAR that has several small stories about zombies in WWII and history. They are very well made and are extremely entertaining, and each one is made by a different small time artist. You can find them on Amazon, and are under the names of European Theater of the Damned, zombies in WWII Europe, Empire of the Rising Dead, zombies in WWII Pacific, The Devils Dance Floor, zombies in WWII North Africa, Mother Russia, a story in which a lone woman must protect a lone child from the hordes of the dead in Stalingrad, American History Z, zombies in American History, By the Sword I and II, zombies in the Medieval Ages, (such as that sweet viking) and Guts and Glory, zombies in the ancient world. Like I said they are very good and entertaining, besides you get to see George Washington fighting zombie British and Patriots, zombies at Gettysburg, Patton taking on undead Germans and Americans, how zombies helped to create that famous photo on Iwo Jima, and how zombies prevented vikings from colonizing North America.
