This is the first of my entrys for Goliath's Weekly Challenge #005 : Creature Design on the Digital Art Forum [ [link] ] .Topic was : Design the two creatures from the story I'm too lazy to translate exactly . The story was about one kind of creatures , the shalakai , that are very fast and dangerous and normally hunting in groups of 2-3 and another kind of creatures , the Oraibi , that are as tall as houses and living in harmony with the people .

this guy looks very fast.i think the muscular legs and the forward bias of his center of balance really sell this guy as a quick mover and built for speed.
most predators have forward facing eyes. prey, they have the side facing 360 degree field of vision.his eyes dont help sell him as a hunter.he could be running away from something.also some claws or a hunting weapon would help.

sorry about the eye comment.i watch WAY too much discovery channel 
...i did remember after commenting that great white sharks have eyes that face to the side and it doesnt get more deadly than that.
