Killer swords! Fack! They sclice the wind.
For human anatomy, my best advice would be to take Burne Hogarth as your role model. He's the pioneer of the modern comic book, pushing the human anatomy dynamic further than it was in the past.
He wrote couple of books.
Drawing from observation will sharpen up your visual too. DA gots some pretty descent pictures to draw from.
The mistake people sometimes do when they draw from observation, is they tend to simply reproduce what they see, without trying to understand volumes and mechanics.
If you are drawing a body from a picture for practice, draw it from the inside out. Picture the bones, muscle, then the skin. If you understand the inside mechanics, it'll make it easier for you to come up with new positions that you may not have seen often.
