Description Sunshine Assassin

I started this illustration under the working-title " Daytimer " , but then it turned out a little bit different . That's just why he's looking some kind like the Daytimer . So what to say about this , I dunno , it took me of course longer than a normal concept , but not as long as I thought . As I allready mentioned , It durned out different and I'm not sure about it . I still have a lot of problems with human anatomy , have to work on that ...

sehr schΓΆn!

im just telling you as advice...ur painting is really good and has gotten a lot better... but ur anatomy is bad like you said... for characters keep an anatomy book by you at all times and if you cant ... take a picture of urself in that pose and use it as a reference other than that it is looking good!

Nice. He (or she o.O) would fit perfectly into one of those desert-esque tribes. As an assassin, of course. =3

Killer swords! Fack! They sclice the wind.

For human anatomy, my best advice would be to take Burne Hogarth as your role model. He's the pioneer of the modern comic book, pushing the human anatomy dynamic further than it was in the past.

He wrote couple of books.

Drawing from observation will sharpen up your visual too. DA gots some pretty descent pictures to draw from.

The mistake people sometimes do when they draw from observation, is they tend to simply reproduce what they see, without trying to understand volumes and mechanics.

If you are drawing a body from a picture for practice, draw it from the inside out. Picture the bones, muscle, then the skin. If you understand the inside mechanics, it'll make it easier for you to come up with new positions that you may not have seen often.
