Alright, for those who remember the 1991 movie of the little that could, you'd remember the boy at the beginning who believed the train would come on his birthday.

He is an 8 year old boy who is very imaginative and active. He likes to read and is a huge fan of Tillie and The Birthday Train.

He is first seen reading and looking out his window and then his sister walks in asking him what he's; reading and he says he reading about Tillie and her pulling the birthday train and hopes that Tillie and the Birthday Train will come for him much to his sisters sassy disbelief. He then tells himself several times that she will come, having the same hope and personal mind connection as Tillie when it comes to her going over the mountain. Eric is then seen on the swing set trying to convince his sister that Tillie is real only for her to keep on disbelieving him and he then reassures him self that Tillie will come once again tearfully. Later at night, He's awoken up form a thunderstorm and goes to the window and is worried about Tillie and the Birthday Train.

Eric is then seen waking up overjoyed that she finally made it over the mountain to greet her. He then calls Jill over and tells her that Tillie is real and that she finally brought the Birthday Train over the mountain and that he knew she would.

Personality-wise, he's very similar to Tillie herself.
