The colored version of the line art in my gallery.Ahh... this took forever, but I'm happy... I tried too many different techniques... I like how smooth her hair is >>... yet I cel shaded her clothes.. It's a good mixture of both I think. I'm quite taken with it. I've never CGed folds before so I'm kinda giddy about that...
I also wanted some make shift cherry blossoms in the back, which came out sorta how I wanted so that's a plus
Anywho... other than that, my friend did the symbol up at the top.. we saw it on one of the character sheets and I'm HOPING it's her name >>.... otherwise, it still looks pretty. I filled it in and took away the line art for it; looks better that way!

so i'm alittle bored today, don't know ifyou want a crit or not, but i'm giving you one anyways
i'd like to say i really like what you did with this peice. the hair is especially nice, your highlights are well placed, although i would like to see alittle more use of shadows.
i dig the background you used, if i may ask, what did you do to create it?
the pose is nice, and the shot compostion is well thought out. i would watch out on the hands and the far arm tho, i know some angles with certain clothes can look off even in photography, but i just thought i'd point it out for future reference. oh, i don't know if you were going for harsher shading edges or not, but if i might suggest a little bit of feathering for the body shading to keep consistancy with the hair?
anyways, just my 2 cents. this is a nice peice!
