I've wanted to paint Lingua Ignota for a while now, and was originally planning to portray her as Our Lady of Sorrows. While I was looking for reference images, I found a photoshoot where she was holding the seven daggers to her chest, so instead I decided to do something a bit more classic.I still want to paint her in that style as well, though, so I guess this is the first Lingua Ignota painting of mine to be finished.
