Yes, one would expect it to be colder here and for more snow to fall. But I think when I look back a the current winter, I can say that we might have two times where snow fell and it was enough to be remembered, but still, compared to past times, the snow was laughable and it didn't hold a week. The only memorable I can think of at the moment is that the first snow came last year at the beginning of November. That was rather early, it was even before my birthday (which is in the middle of that month) and I remember that in the past I sometimes had to fear for my birthday guests to be able to visit the weekends AFTER my birthday because at the end of November chances were that snow might indeed be coming. But at the beginning of November? That was new. Still, it held... I think three days, then it was gone. And right now it's rainy and wet. And cold in my personal opinion, but that's just because I think of anything under 15Β° as cold. Still, as a child I was able to ice skate at the lakes in the city, that is something we had been unable to do for at least over 10 years now, as far as I can think, because it never stays cold enough.
Yes, I also think people who still don't believe in climate change, which is sad because we have proof everywhere. Too warm winters, shitty summers, storms in spring and summer. Not to mention, even if the weather wasn't changing that is not a reason to deny the fact that we humans are indeed destroying Earth, because we do. Anyway, I'm glad to know that I'm indeed not the only one noting such things.
Thank you, I will. When it getting warmer and less rainy again, I hope that I will be out again taking photos. And come summer, convention season starts for me, so there might be more people photos as well.
