My 100% perfected Yami Yugi cosplay debuted at AWA 2013 this year. I remade the wig, reshaped my figure the best I could, polished my leather and perfected my make up and stances. I am rather proud of myself right now. I had my Atem, just not my Yugi. I was a little disappointed about that.
My dream of becoming Yami came true over this AWA. To be a fictional character, he has made such an impact on my life. He's been through so much and just powerful. I was so timid and quiet before I found out about him. Now I'm as open and strong as the Duel King. I'm proud of being myself and doing what I love. I had to do his character justice by making myself as perfect and accurate as possible. He deserves nothing less.

Atem's cosplay was also sewn and crafted by me. She styled the base of the wig, I made the bangs on hers.
