bit of a recent resubmission to this.A bit of additional scale to get a feel for the size of the ships.
The Imperium of Tenebraes Large military spacecraft, Their Essential war-fleet serving their small Warships and Docks and Bases of Operation. Armed with Versus Beam Weaponry and Blade Arcs, and easily a quarter of the size of the shatterbeam Warships these Warships are capable of dispensing great misery on enemy fleets.
at over 3.5 million years old at the least these ships are among some of the oldest craft among GFA forces.
the Imperium of tenebrae has deployed a Fair amount of these Ancient vessels to Act in the war against the Nightside.
And Thus the.

TEREBRO CLASS MILITARY CARRIER DESTROYER "bottom"

Well, Considering that it sounds like you scaled it up rather well. i would suppose that yes. it very well is.
Interestingly enough its not the largest ship I've ever seen or heard of.

Your ship designs rather remind me of Warhammer 40K's Imperium of Man fleets. Very boxy, Gothic, and generally "rock solid".

Those are big influences in their designs, Im part of a sort of military R.P. group, but most of the fleets there tend to base their designs on star wars and Yamato style warships. and i didnt want to go in that direction, so i choose warhammer and Dead space ships as the base for these. wanted to go in a different direction with them.

I greatly enjoy the designs here, Henry. I notice the distinctive geometries of the carriers in particular, the vertical columns as it were. How do those come to play in the design?

the Vertical columns, Largely serve as Additional armor plating as well as Defensive Shield generator Housings Around the primary hull of the ships. at least in terms of military functions. Their influence at least partially comes from the Debris Shields mounted on the side of the ishimuras hull in dead space.
And it got me thinking that in space, and particularly in battle fields in space. Theres going to be alot of debris and wreckage and these ships are going to be transporting smaller military ships, They will need Additional Armor buffering to keep the remains of some ruined Spartoi or nightside ship from slamming into the Primary hull Directly.
A further reason for them in terms of design is that I'm trying to lean away from the Star Destroyer and Yamato influenced designs That most fleets in the GFA seem to favor, Leaning more towards Warhammer, Dead space, Event horizon, and to a slight degree HR. Gigars Intercite Engineer ship Designs and interiors from Prometheus and the first alien film for Tenebrean ship and warship references.

I've been wanting to see Event Horizon for so long...those are all great influences, incidentally. Will we ever see any interior shots of these mighty vessels?
I'm contemplating if I want to specify the designs for the Flux Ascendancy, on account of how fluid their timelines are. At present, they look an awful lot like manta rays.

I would reccomend it. Its a nice take on a Horror Space opera, A good deal of Tenebraes Tech and space designs Draw influence from the film.
I have to Get some interior shot done eventually, once things have calmed down in my home. I'll try to get interior shots of the more vital chambers of Tenebrean ships up and going.
look up the cover for the book a fire upon the deep, it features a ship design of that type that may come in handy as a point of reference.

i have to say its nice to see ships modelled on the designs you have chosen (40k and stuff) i realised my ships looked like star destroyers when after i drew them i watched empire strikes back and went into a rage! though i have tried to change mine a bit hopefully upload a pic soon

Tenebrae is known for building a good deal of ships, and all for different functions too. We're not as militarized as SOME of our ally nations. but we manage. This new law passed by the spartoi however is going to cause no end of trouble.

holy s*** those things are huge! i bet they could inflict serious damage on nightside forces! they might have amazingly powerful forces but we haven't revealed half our tech yet! im sure Tenebrae has much to share too!
