You really have a great depth of color and value. It's something that I tend to have a hard time doing in watercolor.
Do you use many layers of paint? Any additives or mediums? How do you maintain your shapes and blends if you do layer?

I'm still a novice, so I haven't learned all the techniques yet.
But I do know that I paint in layers. (As many as I need to get the result i want.) I think I did like 4 layers on the pedals. (Shadows first, then two layers of color and then a layer that added shape and depth)
