Hi friends!

This is my first time drawing with my tablet and photoshop so also my first time drawing digital art... oh dear! Okay, for this OC, I orginally made it that she had pink hair and green dress- which looked great- but after looking around at the OC’s for this fandom on DA, I found that there were SO MANY pink hair ones (all looking fabulous), and I didn’t want to add to the pile. Therefore, I swapped the colour. Hopefully, it still looks okay.

Now on to the character. The information below is all about this OC, Suri-Rose. I will include a link back to this page on every piece that I do on her as it contains a massive load of information. Enjoy!



Name: Suri-Rose Godetia

Nickname : Suri, Su

Family: Missing younger sister and older brother, Dragon Botania (Foster mother). The name “Botania” comes from the ancient greek word βοτάνη (botane) meaning grass.

Friends: All of Fairy Tail Guild, but dislike Evergreen and thinks Lucy is kind of annoying- though still is nice to them. Also has a mysterious rivalry/tension with Gajeel due to their contrasting magic.

Love Interest: Gajeel Redfox
Relationship Status: Single (And ready to Mingle)

Personality: Extremely outgoing and optimistic but also very gentle and kind. Often too compassionate and puts others’ needs before her own, which often comes as a detriment. Although she is tender-hearted, she isn’t a pushover. When interacting with Gajeel, he always manages to piss her off, make her feel exasperated. It is also of high importance for her that her opinion is heard- she is a natural leader ;D. (Also makes puns ALL the time, making those around her facepalm constantly)



Likes: Flowers, the sun, singing, possibly Gajeel (shock horror)

Dislikes: Freeloaders, unnecessary violence, the cold, destructive



Bio: When Suri was 4 years old, the Plant Dragon, Botania found her in her nest, asleep. From there on, Botania raised and trained her. In the year X777, after all the dragons disappeared, Suri travelled out of the forest where she was raised. The forest was on the edge of Fiore so she decided to travel inland to find Botania and her apparent long-last sister and brother.



Relationships:

Edward (Her Exceed)

Edward had already hatched from his egg when Suri found him, however, he was severely injured due to a huge boar who had chased after him. Suri fought off the boar and healed Edward, who was reluctant at first because he was afraid. After healing him and leaving him the remains of her food, Suri set off again, only to find that the Exceed was following her with a poker face. From there on, the two travelled together and their friendship grew significantly. Today, both would give their lives for each other.

Gajeel (Rival)

Before entering the guild, she had encountered and faced off Gajeel due to a misunderstanding. She had seen him destroying a huge amount of plantation when Gajeel was simply helping expand/rebuild the Fairy Tail grounds by cutting down trees near it after the Phantom Lord crisis. Gajeel then proceeded to be angered due to his hot-headed-ness and mocked Suri and purposely taunting her by destroying more trees with unnecessary force. Makarov eventually came to stop the fight before it got out of hand. When the situation was explained, Suri apologised deeply, as did Gajeel, who mumbled while looking away. Neither was heavily damaged, in fact, Suri only had a few scratches on her shouder from bashing into a tree nearby. Gajeel on the other hand, had been punched by several vines that Suri made, which were shaped like fists so had a few bruises on his face and chest. After the fight, Mirajane suggested that they should patch up each other as a make-up and apology. Suri healed Gajeel with her powers (which fascinated Gajeel) and Gajeel bandaged Suri’s arm (which was proved to be extremely difficult for him. Today, Suri continues to have an unspoken rivalry with Gajeel due to their contrasting magic and also opposing beliefs and personalities. Gajeel believes in brute force whereas Suri opposes strongly against unnecessary violence.
