Ello' everyone. My insomnia won't stop, so I figured I'd finish this ditty.

This drawing was created by [link] and inked by [link] both of which deserve a cocredit on this piece because without them I could not have added my own spin to such a beloved character. Please, be sure and show them the same love you do to me .

I was really lucky to have found this drawing in the first place, as well as an inked version so I could save time by not having to ink it myself which I ocassionally have to do. Word to the wise, always have a solid color pen that matches the color of the lineart ink or black inked pen for inking drawings on hand when coloring. There will be times when you need to, or for practical reasons want to ink it yourself.

Now, onto the costume!

I was tempted just to pull a Silver Age Batgirl from under my cape, but I figured it would be fun to color dear Babs differently with a mesh of Stephanie , which I did with the cowl. I also nodded to the rest of the Bat family with the distinct shade of Huntress purple spattered through the look to add some femninity (I also credit Mike Malihack for making me ooo over more purple on her). Forgive me, but I actually liked Alicia Silverstone's Batgirl costume, so I elongated the batwings to mimic that (it does get a little boring if the same bat logo is used) and smeared the colors a bit to create that shiny leather look.

I may consider posting a Silver Age Barbara, but only if there is demand for it.
