yes I dont think you could classify this as emo, its more anger than depressed, good job on it too, like how you repeated that paragraph there. this is deserving of one.

I think you did a great job of not making it sound emo, so I think you're right. I don't like emo poetry, so I wouldn't have commented on this if it was. It's not overdramatic, but I think you captured the essence of what it might be like to feel that way. Good job!

Thank you so much! Yeah, most of my writing turns out all dramatic and full of self-pity, and then I can't even stand to read it afterwards. Normally I just use writing as a way to vent, but this one wasn't. Glad you liked it!
