A guitar me and ~Derangedgremlin made for ~JojobaGrl . We finished it back in December, but I wasn't able to post it because we hadn't given it to her until last night.The design itself was inspired by ~icoman and his work Next Tattoo .
Update: Me and Micah are more than willing to do commissioned work. If you live in the Tucson, AZ area or are willing to pay the shipping to get it to us, we will customize a guitar, bass, or any other paintable instrument for you. Note me if you are interested. We're just starting, so prices will be fairly low.

Well the body started out black. We sanded down the front exposing the wood underneathe and left the rest of the black paint on. Then we painted the rising sun design on, and finished it by laquering it with a glossy water-tight seal. It was a Squire. -.- But it was kind of a practice one anyways. We worked with the innards too so now it sounds all crunchy and delicious.

She did smile a lot. She knew she was getting a guitar, she just didn't know what it looked like. However, she did get really excited when I showed her what the whammy-bar did.

It just bent the string sound. Do you not know what a whammy-bar is? I forget to limit termanology since I was practically raised with guitars. lol

Oh, I know, but I thought you did something to make the sound different than normal. I remember Micah told me that the sound of the guitar was completely changed because you guys had to take it apart to paint it.

Yeah it's all crunchy-sounding! But the whammy-bar didn't change much. I was actually afraid I broke it for a while.
