Touya Akira (green-haired guy a.k.a the seme) and Shindou Hikaru (bleached-blonde hair a.k.a. the uke) from Hikaru no Go, for those who don't know.I just finished the series today, and, consequently, I'm ultra-sad (because Hikago is finished), but ultra-happy at the same time (the last episode ended really, really well). This is a tribute to Hikaru no Go, I guess.
About the pic: background=my very, very lame attempt at making it more realistic. Maybe I'll touch it up in the future when I know a bit more about Photoshop. Then maybe it won't look so messed up. I have the impression that the background is disproportionate, and that's probably right. >_<
Otherwise, I'm actually pretty satisfied with Akira and Hikaru. At least it looks more like them than my other Hikago pic, "AkiHika - Rivals". It also has a story to it, whereas the other didn't.
The general idea: Akira and Hikaru have just come home after a day of title matches, and they don't even bother changing out of their formal clothes before getting into the romantic mood. *feels warm and squiggly inside* They're such a cute couple... And the anime's suggestive enough as to actually not entirely bar the possibility of a future lovey-dovey relationship. Rivals always did make the best yaoi couples (e.g. SasuNaru)...

Bwa ha ha! XD Why does this look so...plausible? I love that you've managed to capture the essence of the anime so well. Granted, I didn't particularly enjoy watching the anime when I was so in love with the manga, but it was entertaining. I never got through to the end of the anime, how did it go? Anyways, I think you've done these characters ample justice!

PLEASE CHECK IT OUT. It's by far the most well thought-out anime I've seen by far. The characters actually progress and get older, and you watch them for two years (not literally, of course) going from 12 to 14. It's really amazing how smooth the transition into maturity goes. Hikago definitely deserves a bigger fandom...
