Description
Maybe finished painting roses for a while. Or maybe not. Roses are very fun to paint...Watercolor, 10" x 13", 2014.

You've got some interesting layer work on the leaves, especially when they are in mixed depths β I think you should've used it a lot more!

I think so! I've just gotten into using images from there (since, while there are a lot of e.g. horse references on dA, there are not so many e.g. European robins or house wrens, etc. on dA). If you click the "Advanced search" just below the search box, then choose "Search only Creative Commons" and check "Find content to modify, adapt or build upon", you should be set.
