Description
Following this brutal beating, there wasn't much the paramedics could do. After a brief stay in the hospital, Bluto was transfered to a nursing home where he lived out the rest of his years in a persistent vegatative state breathing and being fed through an elaborate system of tubes.Popeye fled the scene before the authorities arrived and went on the lam. After a couple of months, he was spotted in the Phillipines in the company of a nubile young boy. He was beaten with billy clubs and tazered by the local law enforcement and extradited back to the United States. He's now serving a 25 year sentence in a Federal Penitentary in Atlanta.
Olive Oyl was traumatized so by witnessing the savagery of the beating she swore off men forever and now lives with her new life partner in Vermont and runs a small Bed and Breakfast/antique shop.

Who? Popeye or Bluto? Because Bluto had been forcing Olive Oyl to be his girlfriend which was really impolite, and Popeye was just trying to defend her and teach that bodybuilding bully a lesson!

Truth be told, if Popeye was "realistic" that is how Bluto would look at the end of each episode. Good thing it ain't reality cos then Bluto wouldn't come back :^)

This was a long time coming. Bluto got done just like Boggs did in the Shawshank Redemption. Nice work.

Two things never happened again after that: the other sailors never laid a finger on Popeye again, and Bluto never walked again. To my knowledge, he lived out the rest of his days drinking his food through a straw.

I may have already commented on this (as it is AMAZING) but I have to relate an experience similar to this.
I worked in a bar/nightclub when I was younger and a guy complimented a woman on her sparkly red stilettos. Her boyfriend responded by punching him in the face with a signet ring, breaking his nose and damaging his jaw. He vomited everywhere, went into shock and had to be carted away in an ambulance.
