studiomax and photoshop just like everything else. i can say i had a little bit of inspiration from trigness [link] , me and my girlfriend [link] look at her stuff together its beautiful and organic looking and always has a ribbon like flow. theres probly some deeper meaning to me with the image in my subconsious (ther always is) but i cant pick it out right now.Related content

christ...how do you achieve those textures, are they applied mostly in Max, or do you overlay the detail onto the 3D afterwards in photoshop? Love the overlapping plate texture, and the funky little lights on the lower areas.

Pretty nice materials, I can see that some abstract artists FINALLY are trying to do some pieces not just whoring the actual trend. The materials, as I've said, look great. They kinda remind me of game, Evolva.
That's also the only flaw I've found.. some terrible poly-based jaggies here and there. Some can be spotted on the upper portion, as an example. the background itself looks kind of simple.. it just can't keep up with the complexity of the mesh on the left side.
Anyway, I dig it.
