The picture is good....

Detail
detailing could use some work like the rocks... they look very "airbrushy" .... sometime using only the soft brush can give that effect..

Flat..
you picture works well with your foreground elements mid_ground and background but its looks abit flat ...
some simple solutions
-incresing the detail on your character and leaving the background the way it is
-Desaturating the background abit to pop your character and the water out more
- adding fog or blurring the background....

This could help www.fzdschool.com and watch the video tutorials...
But still dig it...keep it up

Oh dood thanks so much for the helpful info, I'll go check out those vids.
Yea I really appreciate the advice on the background because like background and composition are still new to me, so I'm kinda fiddling my way around that blindly.

Hehehe... its a pleasure ...then those vids will help... even my compositions are not the greatest yet... thats why there aren't any up on my profile...

But as far as your work goes...everything is there!!!! All the elements needed for a great work... just needs some fine tuning..

Its so fluid, real, and mesmerizing. I really like the eyes glow. Gives me (the viewer) a feel for the character. *applauds* You're too good at this.

Great work really dynamic. The only thing I would change is to lighten, darken or blur the background a bit to create depth which might help to bring the character out more.
