I hold her in my arms with tears streaming down my face. She looks at me and whispers ‘I’m so sorry.’ over and over again. Her blood is running through my fingers; She begins to fade, and eventually her eyes shut, her head falling heavily to the side. This piece is absolutely amazing. Not only is the art beautiful, but the emotions are portrayed perfectly ant effectively. It is all very detailed, especially the background. The anatomy is excellent for both characters. Also, having the flowers beside the girl to represent difficulty was a great idea, and creative.
The background that you chose is stunning, and the fire and rain are drawn accurately. You kept your light source in mind for the shading in every area, giving the picture excellent depth. Overall, this scene looks very realistic.

I really like how you added the flower in for representation of emotion. I doubt I would have noticed it if you hadn't mentioned it in your description. The fire looks great, though I think that it could be slightly more wavy and be a bit more reddish/orange. I say that as far as colors go because the lighter the flame, the hotter it is. And from what I've noticed, fires in the outdoors in general tend to be "darker" in color the further they are from the base.
You have such a vision for backgrounds. I mean, the rubble looks amazing, and the way you used all of those grays is just brilliant to me. I definitely envy you for your skill/experience in that. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="
As for the characters... I love the lighting you did for the boy's hair. x] Wow. It looks so perfect. Actually, all of the reflective light from the fire looks great. Its glow seems so perfect, especially on the girl's pink shirt.
As for anatomy.. The boy's head seems to be a little disembodied to me. It looks too far forward from his shoulders. I think that if you had put his shoulders further down, say near the second flippy part of his hair on our left, it would have looked better. About the girl. The first thing I noticed about her was her lower body. Her hips aren't very rounded like a girl's would usually be. I know that you're really used to drawing men, so I can understand the difficulty in figuring that out. Also, her thigh seems very flat in that there isn't any apparent curve of muscle. Her chest seems a little odd to me too. Like, it doesn't seem round enough. When girls are laying down, their chests usually... move up? I don't know how to describe it. Next time you're laying on your back try to remember to observe that haha .. The color denotes a flatter plane, while the strokes you used should be more rounded and/or curved as if you were shading a sphere.

Everything seems to work for this piece, however my only crticism is the head of the boy seems inacurate. The position of his shoulders shouldnt be that straight, if it were, then the head would lie at the top of the torso, this makes the positioning of the character look slightly weird. That being said everything else is solid. 4/5

That background is really detailed *_* It all seems very ironic, the chaos and destruction in the background, and then the girl, she seems really pure, in that pink, almost perfect if not for the slash on her cheek and clothes.
