Description These few drawings and illustrations were for my visual development for games class.

I choose to do a make-up a RPG game called
'Serengeti Samurai'.
Fallout meets Planescape Torment meets Morrowind.

Well, that was the general idea. Also I got to draw on CINTIQ for many of these. But at the end of the day I preferred pencils and pigma-markers with amateur-photoshop skills.

The line art for this here :

It was fun and frustration at the same time. Drawing a samurai-armour is tedious. All your anatomy is lost in the details with the way the armour is shaped.
Or maybe that I am not that good an artist.
I guess I cheated at some places, exaggerated in some places...I would have preferred to be more realistic. Also it turned out more oriental than African.
Tell me what you think.

It's amazing how much detail you've put into the rhino - the skin, the folds, the eye and its anatomy. Stunning! I like the textures you used and those horns that you put on the back of the saddle. I think that if it was more realistic this would take away from the beauty of the drawing because you did a great job. I love the style and the idea of a samurai riding a rhino (and I love rhinos, heheh).
