The Chosen One and the Hero With No Fear himself, Anakin Skywalker (who's a Jedi Padawan during the Clone Wars' first year and the mid stages of the war's second year), will be a major character for my future fanfiction project, Star Wars: Clone Wars Tales , with 2003 Clone Wars art style by Genndy Tartakovsky.

Description:
With the onset of the Clone Wars, Anakin Skywalker started on his way to becoming a legendary hero. He received a mechno-arm for his lost right forearm, which was cut off by Count Dooku during the First Battle of Geonosis. He was an unparalleled starfighter pilot, flying missions over several worlds and he even custom-modified his Delta-7 Aethersprite starfighter-naming it the Azure Angel as a tribute to his wife Padme Amidala-into an unique and deadly vessel that time and again outperformed any ship on the battlefield. He commanded the Acclamator-class assault ship Aken with his master Obi-Wan Kenobi and under the admiralty of former Republic Judicial Forces member Admiral Wulif Yularen. He also built a new lightsaber to replace the one lost in Geonosis.
A couple weeks after Geonosis, Skywalker and Kenobi were placed as commanding officers of the Third Systems Army, with Obi-Wan given command over the 212th Attack Battalion led by Commander Cody while Anakin commanded the 501st Legion for much of the war effort. As the commanding officer of the 501st, Anakin grew close to many of the clone troopers under his command, including his clone officers Captain Rex and his second-in-command Sergeant Appo, along with Lieutenant Bow, Lieutenant Vill, Lieutenant Vaughn, Lieutenant Trap and Sergeant Pulsar of Tango Company, Sergeant Boomer, Sergeant Kano, Sergeant Denal, Sergeant Coric, Sergeant Fox (no relation to Commander Fox), Sergeant Hez, Commando Voca, and troopers Jesse, Hardcase, Kix, Tup, Dogma, Mixer, Redeye, Koho, Charger, and Ridge. While most Jedi during the Clone Wars treated their clone troopers as disposable soldiers, Anakin grew close to the men of the 501st throughout the war's early stages. While at first Rex and Appo needed to adapt to their maverick Jedi Commander because of their by-the-book and no-nonsense nature, the two clone officers came to admire Skywalker's willingness to bend the rules and genius for improvisation. In fact, many of the clone troopers within the 501st even began to see Anakin as one of them.
Throughout the Clone Wars' first 2 years, Anakin, Obi-Wan, and the troops of the Third Systems Army went on many adventures across the galaxy such as on Arantara, Rhen Var, Raxus Prime, Alaris Prime, Thule, Kamino, Ohma-D'un, Muunilinst, Yavin 4, Nivek, Terra Sool, Skye, Balamak, Tatooine, Metalorn, Jabiim, Aargonar, Varonat, Riflor, Virujansi, Azure, and Praesitlyn. During his adventures, Anakin becomes friends with an Alpha-class ARC Trooper named ARC-17 (nicknamed "Alpha"), and he and Admiral Yularen are given command of the Resolute, first of the new Venator-class Star Destroyers making up the Republic's Open Circle Armada. He would also go up against many Separatist Generals and Acolytes, most notably Chief Dark Acolyte Asajj Ventress and Gen'Dai bounty hunter Durge. As the Clone Wars' second year reached its midpoint, Anakin was endowed with the title of Jedi Knight for his heroic actions at the Battle of Praesitlyn, despite the fact that he never went through the traditional Jedi Trials before being Knighted. It was a controversial decision for the Jedi High Council, but the final decision fell to Yoda, who decided to have Anakin's Knighting in a secret ceremony. Skywalker later sent his Padawan braid, which had been ritualistically severed by Yoda, to Padme as a late devotion gift.
War molded Anakin Skywalker into a man and honed his combat ability, but it continued to nourish his ego. While Skywalker, dubbed the "Hero With No Fear," had no fear for his own life, he was terrified for the lives of his Master, Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, the troops under his authority, and even R2-D2, who accompanied Skywalker whenever he could. It was difficult to rein in Skywalker as he increasingly had trouble following the strict doctrine of the Jedi Code, especially when the Order itself was complicit in ambiguous moral acts by waging a full-scale war. But, above all, Skywalker feared for his beloved Padme. He wrote to her whenever he could, and also tried to meet with her on several occasions, but because of their duties they saw each other very rarely. And the few times they did, Padme was usually in danger, which fueled his protectiveness for her and his fear.
