Y'know it's funny I remember so much of this show now, I think it was only on in rerun land for a year or so (either that or I've blocked the memories of it hah)

I remember very little from the show, the Gorilla being the main bit I remember fully... it didn't really do all that well here, I was more into the Real Ghostbusters, and then later the Extreme Ghostbusters! That said, I have just ordered the first DVD release, gonna try to jog my memory

Yeah it was a weird show that's for sure. A lot of FILMATION's original stuff is weird...

Very true!

DVD has arrived and been watched.. far worse than I remembered, but at least there was a lot more animation in it than most of the other shows of theirs I've seen, rather surprising, though the obvious traditions of FILMation were definitely still there! Also, they didn't seem to do much 'ghost busting'

Yeah, I'm kind of curious now haha, it's been a long time.

I recall going back and watching some other FILMATION shows I used to like as a kid and the quality is such a mixed bag hah

They do have the tendency to go from average, to really really terrible productions, the Ghostbusters is one of their more better productions, it just suffers from the usual FILMation nonsense.. that said, I will be getting the 4 disc DVD set from Germany, when the price comes down at least
