Even though Kallura is a canon ship in the previous incarnations of Voltron, I kinda think of those two a friends... Besides, in the past, Keith was the pilot of the black lion due to having the same temperament as Shiro and Allura appears to be around the same age as Shiro (I kinda ship Shallura...) But I actually like this, and I wouldn't be surprise if they're like this as a way of comforting each other of their 'loss' of Shiro

Really beautiful picture of Keith and Allura. This pairing is getting a lot of hate right now in the fandom on Tumblr. People keep claiming they have no chemistry. They haven't had much to do with each other this season and I hope that the writers have some character development between these two next season and in future seasons.
