YESH! I mean... Nice coloring. ~__^ It's great to see more Vincent pictures around. Good ol' Vin. Looks like he's squinting with contempt yet again. Bad Vincent.

I use Adobe Photoshop's "Gradient" feature... the one with a little paint bucket. I think I went through and used a distortion filter too..... I know filters are the 'wussy' way but I'm no art major so screw it. ~~ Glad you like and thanks for the fave~~

Yeah, I've tried using the Gradient feature to do it.. yet I dont know which of the features on it to use to get the red to black or any other color to black. *chuckles* ah well, I'll figure it out.

Okay, you select the gradient tool right? Well, then select the two colors you want to go betwixt. You can do this by selecting one color then switching to the background color... on the tool bar at the very bottom you can see the 'Front' and 'background' color; change which is in front by clicking on the little curved arrow twixt them. This allows you to select two different colors at the same time. These are the two colors that'll show up with the gradient tool.
If you want more than two colors in your gradiation, when the tool is selected, look at the top toolbar. You'll see the gradiation hue in a 'drop down box'. Click on that. You'll get a list of preset options but you can also make your own. It's sorta complicated for me to explain without pictures... just play around with it, you'll see how it works pretty quick~~. That's how I learned any of this. It's how I learned to draw for the most part; the few classes I've had were pretty worthless unless you want me to draw abstract bullshit, objects, and... clowns. This one teacher had a clown obsession. *shudders* But yeah. ~~ I hope that sorta helps... maybe?
