Description
The ADNT - 89 is the primary medium tank used by the Risetan armed forces and also by the North Nationalist Guard, a paramilitary force under control of Prime Minister Alva Cordera. It was first developed in 1946 to make use of new ballistics technologies in the form of fin stabilized shaped charge projectiles and as a mounting platform for the new 89mm Tanquecanone No.2, and to modernize the armed forces amidst rising geo-political tensions.

The vehicle sees an increase in protection over older models of medium tanks by using a pike nose style frontal plate and a half cast and welded turret for the three man turret crew. It is also equipped with multiple smoke grenade launchers on the outer hull to help with obscuring the vehicle in tactical situations. A few other notable features are the diesel engine, stereoscopic rangefinder to allow for accurate rangefinding for both the gunner and the commander, and an infrared searchlight to permit fighting in low to no light environments.
