Tiy (the pixel artist of Terraria) is one of the guys who make the sprites. And the pixel graphics look so damn AWESOME. It's just ... DUH! He's just so awesome.

I knew there would be fanart of it already! Very nice drawing, I like what you did with it. Question, did you draw those tentacles yourself or just used Fetalstars pic? They look very good and in a very different style than the avian. Exactly Fetalstars style.

i have seen some videos of it on YouTube. it looks alright. i think i am going to stick with Terraria for now until i can find time to fit a new game in my schedule

Yep, something like that, but with a lot of new cool features: different characters from different culture, quests, and a battle engine that is not like "I touch you and you get hurt".
You should take a look at their website. They sometimes release little info, like items, or mobs ... The game isn't finished yet. They say they'll probably release it after this summer.

I have looked. I do like the multiple races feature, but it's still too early to tell about much else.
