Description
This is the fourth, in a series of four, drawings I did for a project at school. The project revolved around exploring the nature and possibilities of charcoal (compressed synthetic charcoal in this case).
I wanted to do a minimalist series based on the same isometric structure, breaking up and transforming that structure in each drawing. Concentrating on the contrast between light and dark (as in this one), the contrast between the diffrent kinds of "blackness" in charcoal and to explore the grayscale on a softer level.
Regarding this piece I will not go into detail about the technical procedure since it is quite tedious and tricky.
No technical errors on this one.
This was made on 300g Arches Satine paper.
The deviation is just a crappy photography with my compact digital DiMage... so the colors are not quite accurate, it might be a little crooked and some tendency towards a fisheye effect... sorry about that. i might replace this deviation with a better photography in the future.
