Just so we're clear, I'm only asking this out of pure curiosity; as Belle, Bloom and Loo get older, will they start dressing more like their older sisters (or whatever their relationship might be in your version)?

I'm not sure. The original plan is that they form a team and they just do their own thing later on.

Oh you mean that! The 'mane6' designs will probably change in the future, right now it's sort of eye candy. Jack and Whisper probably won't change much, since jack is a barbarian, she doesn't wear a lot of armor, and Whisper roams the forests, if I could I would just make her nude (tarzan). The midriff from Lavender will probably disappear, and I will redesign Lady Lucid completely for sure, I just came up with that outfit on the spot. Brash will get a jacket but that's about it.
I will try to make this 'world' more believable, but I kind of want to keep the stupid things too here and there

I honestly don't know how to feel about this. On one hand, redesigning Lady Lucid's and the Sun Queen's outfits is a good idea, and it wouldn't hurt if you gave whisper just a little more cloth in the "downstairs" region. On the other hand, I don't see the point of covering Lavender's midriff.
To tell you the truth, I had come up with a theory for why everyone seemed to be dressing down to such an extreme. Their queen is the goddess of the sun, so they might believe that they receive her blessing through sunlight making contact with their skin, and the more skin they expose to the light of the sun, the better they are able to receive her blessing, hence everyone traditionally wears as little clothing as they possible can in any given situation. The way the younger citizens dress more conservatively is required of them on a matter of decency (my meaning should go without saying), and they are allowed to dress in a "manner to better receive the grace of the Sun Goddess" when they come of age (18 or so). This theory is actually the reason why I was so curious about the subject.
