This is Sallow's Freshwater Event Introduction. (THANK YOU @jasmine-blight for letting me borrow Sallow!!)

Sallow had been wandering through the mangrove swamp during the daylight hours. He had never been to this sort of place before. The tall, dense trees seemed eerie to him. The mangrove plants were taking over the whole swamp. Overpopulation of the mangroves were sapping the life out of the resident plant species.
Sallow had never had this feeling before. He was unsure of what he was looking for but had the urge to keep going. The swamp was so quiet and calm. Sallow was used to this though, as it always seemed like creatures hid from him, aware of his violent nature.

It is now night, and so he continues.
