Description
Isso Ota is described at one point as a manic cop. Ota, is an extremely hot headed violent young man with very little self control who likely became a cop so he could legally carry a gun. He's also not the smartest member of the team and is usually around for comic relief since he charges in shooting before anyone has had a chance to think. That said he's clearly someone capable enough to have made it to special vehicles unit 2 (he is a terrific weapons expert) and is shown multiple time to be someone capable of following orders and acting with enough honor that you can't dismiss him off hand. When he does think he is at least somewhat heroic if a totally misfit like the rest of the team.

I had been meaning to recast Ota for a while but i just recently got some alts for Asuma and Noa so i thought i'd go and upload them all. Miguel Gomez is an actor i really like, he's made a name for himself for playing Gus on FX's the Strain. Gus during the first two seasons of is a very immature rather violent young man who is more or less forced by circumstance to become a hero. I think Migul showed he clearly has the attitude down both the type of person who Ota is and he did a lot of great action scenes as Gus. He also did a role as a cocky full of himself boxer but i did not see the movie to be able to give much more of a comment.
