It's been a while since I started the Career Counselling series! I definitely plan on doing more... but for now, here's one from an idea suggested by Omdannelse ! And speaking of series... tomorrow's caption should be bringing back an older series~

“So, this is the place?” “Huh?” The long-haired woman sitting behind the desk blinked at Francis, seemingly taken aback. “Uh… I heard I could get career advice here or something?” “Y-yeah! Yeah, you can.” She gestured for him to sit down, and took a notepad from beside her on the desk. “First, may I have your name?”
“It’s Francis Woods.” “Francesca?” Making a note, the woman smiled warmly. “That’s a nice name~” “My name’s not-” He stopped, feeling a sudden headache. Why was he confused? It was a bit of a weird name for a boy, but Francesca had known no other name since he was born… “Never mind.”
“Why are you here today?” “Because my homeroom teacher forced me to… and if we can be done with this I need to go back to practice.” “That’s fine!” Francesca watched her write something and shivered, rubbing his hands against the smoother skin of his arms. Maybe the AC here was set too low… “I’ll make it quick, then~”
“So!” The woman leaned back in her chair, crossing her legs. “You mentioned something about practice?” “Yeah… I play rugby. Linebacker.” “Hmm…” Francesca suddenly felt an ache all over his body, like one after a long workout… “I wouldn't have pegged you as a rugby player! But I guess looks can be deceiving~”
“I love playing it!” Francesca leaned forward, oblivious to the fact that almost all the muscle in his body had vanished, his spindly arms and legs giving the impression that he had never played a competitive sport in his life. “And I’m going to uni on a sports scholarship anyway, so I don't know why I'm here…” “Well, it won’t hurt to weigh your options a little…”
“What would you say is your best subject?” “Um….” The woman made another note. “Probably literature!” “A rugby linebacker and a lover of literature? You’re a person of many talents, Francesca~” “Well!” Awkwardly, he scratched the back of his head with hands that had become slimmer and smoother, their nails neatly manicured. “The rugby’s more of a hobby, and I'm not that good at it…”
“Hey, having a hobby's always a good thing! Especially to distract you from a boring job… though I suppose that's not a problem for you~?” “Of course not!” Francesca smiled and placed a hand over his chest, which grew out into two modestly-sized breasts. “I really, really love it… To be basically surrounded by books all day, every day? It’s all I could ask for!”
“Well, I’m happy to hear that~” The woman smiled as she heard Francesca’s new, high-pitched voice, watching his jersey become a green blouse, his pants morphing into a black skirt that wrapped tightly around a luscious, curvy bubble butt. “It’s been… how many years since you started working as a librarian?”
“Just two! But I feel I could do it forever and be happy…” To reflect this fact, Francesca’s features changed to become a little more mature, even as the contours of his face smoothed out to create a cute, feminine appearance, and his height dwindled to one that was decently tall for a girl, but not excessively so. His vision blurred for just a moment, but a pair of glasses appeared to rectify that problem.
As Francesca’s hair darkened into black (but with a lock on one side dyed a daring sky-blue) and changed into a chin-length bob cut, he bent down and began rummaging around in his purse. “The reason I came here today… was to show you this!” With a triumphant smile he placed a thick stack of papers on the desk. “Ah~!” Picking up the stack, the woman began flipping through them. “So this is the novel I’ve been hearing about?”
“Y-yeah!” Francesca blushed and stared down at his feet, seeing but not registering the disappearance of the bulge in his pants. “I-I wrote it during my shifts at the library! I don’t know how good it is… but I hope you could read it and give me some feedback, Ms. Rina!” “Oh, I bet it’s going to be amazing~! Don’t forget I’ve been reading your stories ever since you were in high school, after all…”
“Those were… embarrassing!” Flustered, Francesca stood up, her shapely legs now clad in lacy stockings and her delicate feet held in simple high heels. “I-I need to get back now!” “Sure thing, Fran~” As the girl left her office, Rina smiled and ran her hand over the manuscript sitting on her desk. In a way, what she did was creating fiction too, wasn’t it? Thinking up characterizations, backstories, motivations for these girls… she wondered what sort of fiction Fran would dream up~?
