Description My apologies if that title belongs to someone, I think it might but I can't seem to recall to whom... but that's what this is, a dump of all the odd locomotive creations I came up with during my week in Pennsylvania. I plan to "finish up" one or two of my favorites.

I just Realized, Oddly Enough, that the 2nd to Last 4-6-4T Steams Locomotive looks WAY too Similar to a BR78, like mine! [link] Especially the Rear Bunker, it creates a Parallel unlike any other...

Hmm... the bunker is similar, but I don't know about the rest, mate! XD My version has the firebox resting on the first trailing axle, making the boiler pretty much identical to that of a small Pacific... judging by the size of the BR78, its firebox is either narrow or shallow, akin to a ten-wheeler's. (In fact, I am unaware of any prototype tank engine with a large firebox like mine. ) But... yeah, they're both 4-6-4Ts!

Yeah, Well, Many Steam Locomotives have Similarities, Some more obvious than others... For Example, they All Run on STEAM!

My favorite is that Neat little 0-10-0T all the Way on the Bottom...

This is amazing... the detail you put even in such simple quick sketches. I bet I could've never come up with anything remotely as detailed and well-fitting as one of these...

Thanks! But really, there's nothing to this detail stuff... it's all just simple machinary and appliances. I'm sure you could do the same thing for any machine if you have a familiarity with it!

Ah, the thing is, I just can't memorize such things! I will end up just making something up, and that always looks awful. Heck, I love my electric kettle, but I can't draw it from memory at all.

Well, you don't even have to memorize the parts if you just know how the machine works. If you know what makes your electric kettle go, the parts just follow one another!

But I still make stuff up from time to time, trust me. It can still look good! XD

I like the 4-4-0, and the little Pennsylvannia Southern "mother hubberd" looks pretty cool!

Thanks, the 4-4-0 took a try or two before I got her where I wanted her! The mother hubbard came out a bit ackward-looking for my taste, though-- I was trying to draw from memory an engine I had seen on a poster in the Steamtown giftshop earlier that day. XD

the 4-4-0 reminds me of how I used to draw my own Texas so long ago. I found an early drawing I did in the Back of a Wishbone book around 5th grade, it looks strikingly like yours! great minds think alike I supose!

Hm, which of the 4-4-0's gives you that impression? You should post that old drawing you found.

The "Eastern" Its an old small sketch done on the back cover of a Wishbone book. Not really worth uploading!
