Grim Realities (2021) is a series of 5 different CD covers, based on songs, which all tell their own stories about life struggles.Grim Realities (2021) explores different aspects about how life is always a constant struggle. Each little artwork tells a different story that seems very exaggerated, but, in reality it aligns with relatable issues we have faced ourselves in life.
This project aims to encourage an audience that no matter the struggle, extreme or minuscule, we need to keep pushing on.
I have used Gina Kiel as my mentor artist for her psychedelic, vibrant art style to help visualise what I interpreted from these songs.

CD 3 - Determination
'Determination' tells the story through a POV where chains and the gruelling environment pulls the protagonist further back into the darkness. Seeing a bright glow through the murky water, you fight with all might to break free.
Moral: Never lose hope when it feels like you can't go on for much longer.
