"Even in the darkest places, I always keep shining"My first (finished) drawing of 2014 is........ a stupid drawing made in a very short time
I took an inspiration for this one (because I'm artblocking) and I had to let you know it

Hello! I realize this picture is kinda super old, but I was digging through my gallery and finding this pictures brought back some pretty great memories. I've always loved this image so so much, the balance and the colors are just fantastic. I was wondering if you would mind if I based an OC/Persona off this image? I usually don't ask to take inspiration from things, but the blue eyes in the darkness and the grey hoodie are just so perfect and they're such a central part of this image. I plan to add a few other details and changes of course (making it female for one, adding accessories and accents) but I feel like the base would be heavily inspired by your work. So, would all that be okay with you? If not I understand completely, thanks for your time

Hello! Firstly thank you for this kind comment, indeed this drawing is pretty old and i didnt expect someone to talk about it again ^^
About your request, i dont want to say no to you but i have some things to say first...
This drawing represents my main character from the story im writing for years now and he has his own specificities like the shiny blue eyes that are the basics of his personnality. Of course i dont mind if a drawing of him inspires you to create (actually it makes me a bit proud ehe) but im a little afraid if you create a character that could be similar to him because he's very important for me...
If you dont mind, i'd like you to share your ideas with me before posting it on the internet so i could tell if it's not too close to my own character
Is it for a rpg forum or something like that?

That's perfectly understandable. I have a quite a few characters and do a lot of writing myself, I can see how that would be a concern. The main things I want to use form this image is the color choice (they grey hoodie, the blue eyes) and the obscurity of it. I don't plan on giving my design a face at all, just blue eyes in the shadow of the hood, which would make their head look practically identical to this image If you'd like, I'd be more than willing to throw together a few concept sketches, put them in my stash and note you a link?
And no, I plan to make em my new internet persona, use em as my ID pic and Avatar and all that

On reconnaît tout de suite les yeux de Cyel (ah, je vais m'y habituer ! xD) Par contre je l'imagine pas avoir une carrure aussi épaisse, à moins que ce soit simplement son pull qui soit gros
