Description I had to do a book cover for a tall tale prompt in class. I did mine on the Ouija Board stories involving demons.

I like to draw type like this, I've noticed. Hand lettering this way is pretty fun.

I have been using my copic markers for almost all my projects so far, and I'm really happy about it. I've also been messing with some acrylic ink for the high lights. I'm pretty proud of how this came out.

I've never seen or heard of this before, but I do know that I enjoy this dark art style. The colors are vivid the hues and value really adds to the texture as if it would feel like stretched skin on the demon. Along with the bladed spines out of his back may cut me if not careful when feeling.
Now for what I don't like so much. The city glow from the eyes and the color radiance on his face and hair seems off. The expression on the mans face is good but I think the line/wrinkle by the eye is too dominate in the face. His arm muscles look twisted in the fore-arm, it may look like that in real life but the way it looks here strikes me odd.
Also great work on the human flesh tones!
The text is very awesome, especially since you did it all by hand.
Overall I enjoy this drawing and you should have a bright future doing illustrations some day.
