Description My boyfriend showed me a painting in Robert Service's "Comrades! A History of World Communism" and I fell in love with the style, I just had to try to replicate it. The book does not list the original artist, and I've looked everywhere for him. If anyone recognizes it...
I cannot claim this as my own, but as a tribute to an amazingly talented artist whose style I greatly admire. I think my version is fairly successful!

Miss, this is one of the best painting I've seen in a long time, you've really captured him. I wish I could paint like that, any chance of a few tips? All the best!

Congrats, this is great, I feel this is very hard to do with gouache, you are using bristle brushes for this?, and...what brand of gouache?.

Anyway I loved the impact of the color and the solid draw.
