My assignment was to design a CD cover. I chose the album "I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning" by Bright Eyes, one of my favorite albums of all time. This is my first time doing a Lino Print, it's really fun! Enjoy

Thanks! No printing press, it was all done by hand. I carved into the linoleum with a set of tools, rolled ink over it, then plopped it down onto the paper and pushed reallllly hard, haha. It's kinda a trial and error sort of thing...this exact piece I think was my 3rd attempt.

Oh my god, it's gorgeous! It's so interesting to see other people's interpretations of a photo, especially one I've taken. This is such a different scene than the one that was really occuring when I took the picture. I almost like this one better!

Thank you SO much, I'm really glad you like it. Initially, I was just going to paint pretty much the photo realistically, but I really wanted to try something new. Your photo already had a cool graphic quality to it that I thought would translate nicely into this medium! Thanks again
