Beautiful. I don't think I've seen such a simple image that I've been so instantly drawn to. The style is perfect, the execution also - the character in his face tells you everything you need. I can - and probably will - study this for a while now.
I won't critique 1) because this is old, 2) because it's sentimental and 3) because I'm useless at it, but I couldn't close the window without saying how much I like this. Have a fav, hopefully it'll come up on my front page often and give me an excuse to smile.
