Description
Just adding finishing touches to a 3D version of one of my lightsaber designs. No texture yet.Fell free to critique.
I'm gonna add another area with detail, put notches in the knob, put notches in the switch, and maybe make a podium
Made in Rhino 5 trial.

It's a cool design and the pic on the whole is well made.. but I was wondering, how long is the hilt? It looks short and maybe it would be uncomfortable to hold..

it's quite short. it's for 1 handed style. the shortness makes it lighter in weight for faster swings. this kind of saber is seen more in the new trilogy. but you're right it might be too short compared to actual lightsaber in the movies

I really liked the emitter. Also, hiding the round button in the slimmer middle section so hand doesn't accidentally press it is quite practical. I hope there is a lock on front button though

The inspiration for this saber comes from the new trilogy (mainly Obi-wan's Episode 1 saber, which is my favorite) not the original trilogy, which is why it's clean, elegant and shiny.
