Description
Recently I worked on a video game project for which I designed and painted a 100 monsters corresponding to five elements used in the game. This is the third group of 20 creatures. The definition of water element was quite wide, so anything that has something to do water, ice, mist, snow or just looks like it would live underwater could fit into this category.Here are the first and second sets of 20:

Imagination is a skill like any other and I just have been trying to come up with different designs for different things for years. It used to be extremely hard to create a look or come up with an idea for anything, but now I have more ideas than time. I usually draw a few random lines or google some references for 10 seconds and it doesn't take much to spark an idea most of the time. I made sketches for those monsters 30 at a time.

Thanks, but there isn't much process. I google some references for like 10 seconds if I don't have an idea for a monster immediately and I come up with something for the next sketch while I am drawing the previous one most of the time. I have a lot of random knowledge about many subjects, because I read a lot so there is a lot of info to draw inspiration from without looking for any specific inspiration most of the time.
