Description A redesign of the flag of Egypt.

explanation of Symbolism - Red and white were traditionally the colours of the Lower & Upper regions of Egypt in Ancient times, as can be seen on the colours of the crowns of Upper and lower Egypt worn by Pharaohs - red for Lower Egypt (the region around the Nile delta) and white for Upper (the regions south of modern day Cairo) So I felt it would be appropriate to use that Ancient Symbolism to pay homage to the Ancient Egyptians. The green represents the fertile land around the Nile and agricultural production, Green also is the traditional colour of Islam and so represents that too as it is the majority religion in Egypt. Together the White Green and red triangles are meant to also symbolise the 3 main pyramids at Giza and further honour the Ancient Heritage of the country. The blue stripe represents the Nile. Yellow background is a representation of the deserts and sands of Egypt.
