...would you believe this started as a nice, fluffy England/Canada pic?I decided that instead of grumbling about how Alfred hogs all of Arthur's attention (in true Canadian fashion), I should do something about it! Because only Canadians would care that APH!UK forgets that Canada exists, and that APH!Canada doesn't have a crazy fixation on England (and France)...
Arthur and Matthew were drawn from memory so their outfits are probably not very accurate. I'll have to post a more polished version later.

That's so right im English and I think we should give the Canadians more respect I half wonder why when America left Canada didn't follow but I'm not complaining I love them so much more for staying loyal then if they'd left too

No problem, I agree. The politics I read and the war is all for money now. I have never been one for politics, but the rest of my family is and quiet frankly they have no clue what the are talking about or what that is right they should support. I have never been to England before , but it sounds a lot better than here right now.

Hehe I talk politics quite often with my stepdad and the girls at college, though some of them didn't know what the Taliban was or what the difference between the UK, Britain and England which I quite appalling if you live here O_O. You should come to England sometime

Quiet frankly my father says I should join the army and it might not matter how hard I work I might never get a good job in this economy (I do not intend on doing that, I am still clinging on my dreams). I am not focusing on the Government as much as the Gun banned laws (I don't know what to think of those) The U.S.A was also getting hit by some awful winter storms with three feet of snow up north and they had tornados down south I believe. Our Government needs to be more prepared for things like that instead of using their power to make money and leave people in the dark.

Recently in the UK we've had a lot of flooding more in the rural areas close to rivers.
Well it looks like both our governments are the same. Just after power and money that's why I hate them. I bet everyone in the USA would lol

I love my country , just not the government(I hate them). The shootings were also caused by drugs that were not tested fully, big companies just throw them to the public without testing for serious side effects and even give them to children . Another way to sellout, when all those kids needed were a friend. If it was up to me I would try to make every child happy and safe.

Oh my god I compleatly agree with you I love England but I seriously hate MPs, Tory, Lib Dems and Labour are all wankers. Next election I'm going for UKIP even if they're knobs too at least they'll do one decent thing. I didn't know there were drugs involved in that. You're right but it's just not the way the world works unfortunately

Totally agree! I find it annoying that a lot of people seem to think that Alfred and Arthur have nothing better to do than angst over each other. I feel like England's history with Canada and America is often..misinterpreted and/or forgotten in the hetalia fandom. Good picture, especially since it's only from memory, Canada's expression looks really pained

Also, since you are a canadian, I want to be straight out, I didn't add in the accents for everyone, I think ch4 I finally did one line of accent for Matthew, I just didn't want to offend you by not adding them. 
It's VERY HARD. >_< Almost impossible. Don't get me wrong I fully support any form of USUK but they need to get real, Canada is right there. And even if it's not yaoi, Canada needs some lovin' from his other father. D: Major.

I wouldn't worry too much about the Canadian accent thing. It's pretty common for Canadians to switch between American and British English so we sound pretty similar to Americans from the Northern states, only with more French thrown in. Well, it's more pronouncing obviously French words correctly than saying whole phrases but it might be different back East.
It is! I don't mind USUK but I must admit it gets a little irritating to read a fic advertised as FACE only to find that it's really US/UK & FR/CA with nothing about the relationships between US/FR and UK/CA. It's possible to ship a pair without ignoring their other important relationships! Sorry for the rant... as you can tell, it's a bit of a sore point for me since I tend to gravitate toward unpopular-in-fandom pairs.

well I started it out just a family fic, then someone requested UK/US out of it but when I started to hand write ch 5 and try to add in a bit of UK/US...it sucked. So you're the first to know this: it's staying a family fic. :3

You know...it really doesn't make sense for England/UK/whatever to forget one of the commonwealth nations. I didn't really put that much thought into it before (I blame the fact I'm America xD). I just kind of figured that Arthur (BECAUSE SOMETIMES HE'S ENGLAND AND SOMETIMES HE'S THE UK) is just kind of like he knows Canada but doens't always remember Matthew is the personification of Canada. Or something. I don't know...

I love it and i think that arthur should pay more attention to matthew. Cuz really if you think about the history when england used to own parts of canada, shouldnt arthur be closer to matthew more than alfred. I LUV IT! ITS VERY CUTE! I started to ship them just because I yearned for an unusual but historically logical pairing and Canada/England is just perfect. I really adore them together.
