Prisma color drawing that I spent way too long on, lol. This was supposed to be entered to the Houston Livestock & Rodeo show but, unfortunately, I didn't finish it on time because I got really sick.Related content

I actually like the rope as it adds imagination to the viewer of riding the horse. Maybe next time do a horse in the sunset or having hay from it's mouth. It is a fabulous piece and never mind enter again for the competiton and your drawing will have improved then.

i like this drawing a lot. the cloud and sky make a great background. and colors and details are very good.
one question though: why choose to draw the rope tied to the harness?

This drawing was as an assignment for my art class and it was supposed to be from a photo (I took the photo myself so I just copied it directly). But now that you mention it, I think it probably would have looked better had I not drawn the rope since it does seem to get in the way. I'll keep that in mind next time, thanks
