Description
This is Nancy the Old Green Engine. Nancy was built in 1897. She used work on the Great Western Railway helping shunt trucks and coaches for the bigger engines. She was purchased by Queen Lucy after World War 2 in 1945. In 1998, she was purchased by Sir Stephen Topham Hatt to help with the extra workload in Vicarstown Station. When Henry's brakes failed, she manged to save Henry from colliding with an engine who was doing a railtour of Sodor. She was praised for it and was officially the North Western Railway's 19th engine. She was allowed to keep her Great Western Railway green paint and she was given the North Western Railway logos painted in yellow with emerald green lines. She was also given a yellow number plate with green frames and her 19 is also emerald green. She also has a yellow nameplate with emerald green frames. Nancy is a kind engine, but won't hisiate to snap at others who treat her or her friends poorly.
