Description Lochan Meall an t-Suidhe is a Loch on Ben Nevis at 570m altitude. Commonly known as Halfway Lochan it's actually less than half way up the mountain and significantly less than half the walk up. Due to it's nickname many a new visitor is confused when some hours after reaching it they still haven't reached the top.

lol I can see that. Sometimes it's hard to unfocus on what you're doing to pay attention to what else is around.

Well, we were running up and down to try and beat my previous times so didn't really want to stop unnecessarily.

This doesn't even seem like a photograph; it's so serene and unreal!

Cheers, it was pretty unreal when I was there; it's always been so cloudy that you couldn't see much further than your outstretched arms so to see it like that was pretty amazing!
