Description Oh hey look more goblins, what a shocking surprise! Just a quick portrait type thing of my warlock again. The image of him wearing a cowl popped into my head and wouldn't leave until I'd sketched it out.

Despite his general distaste for animals and having a near-death experience from an adder bite when he was younger (hence the name), Snake's pretty fond of...well, snakes. Reptiles in general, really. Anything without fur or feathers.

I think you've got the perfect balance of color and shadow here, very subtly setting off his eyes, it's great!

I in particular like how the snake's head is curled up against Snake. It reminds me of how a cat would snuggle against its person.

I really like how you made the eyes appear to glow. It really caught my attention in the newest feed. The pose is great, as if the snake is nuzzling him. The snake's body over his shoulders, though, seems a little flat, not curved as I would imagine. I think it is because the shading makes it appear that there is a flat plane along the top. Maybe the shading should curve the shading a bit move, to make it seem more rounded.

There is a flat plane along the top, snakes' bodies aren't usually perfectly round tubes, but bisect into two slight but distinct planes over their spines.

Oh, I see! The shift in shading is where you mean the spine to be? Ah, that makes more sense. I was interpreting it differently, as if the spine was in the center of the inner plane.

Ah yes The other side of the spine does get sort of lost in the shadows to the right.
