i like this one! and yes, i'm finally getting back into this! i give a ton of credit to dezzan-stock for the amazing premade background though. anyways, i made two manips in a row, featuring the same horse (in different poses) based on the same song. i am so original! nah, but it just seemed to fit. but i really like how this turned out.

Lucky. I really want cs3 ( or the new one, cs4 ). I downloaded cs2 for the 3-day trial. But I have NO clue how to use it.

It is pretty amazing - the only reason that I have it is because of the student discount, so you can get the program for around 250 dollars I think? It's still pricey, but a ton cheaper, and I use it for things outside of just manipulating, cos I'm into photography and do some editing for baseball. And yeah, the 30-day trial gives you just enough time to learn the basics, since it does take a while to get used to all the tool that you can use and how to use them correctly to get the best results. I started out with Photoshop Elements 4.0 which barely gave you anything to use, and CS3 is tons better, even though I don't even know how to use half of the functions!

Wow. It's been about 20 days, and I still don't even know how to cut anything out, resize or re-colour.
And I'm still with my Photoshop Elements 7.0 ...

well, there's some really helpful tutorials on dA for cutting with the pen tool. and what do you mean by resizing? recoloring can be difficult - there are a few different methods that you can use depending on how drastic the change is, but again, search around for tutorials and they can teach you a lot.
