Finally finished this! Commission for Nyool nyool.deviantart.com/ -- This represents a new advancement in terms of my premium commissions, which often wind up costing more than the listed commission price. Prices may wind up increasing soon for high-background pics like this, cause they just take so long to do the lighting and the shading for them. I adore this piece. It's very detailed and gentle. What i mostly can critique on is the sun coming through the windows. The sun should look more like rays. Also maybe making her cutie mark pop out from her body a little more would be good. And i noticed something about the mixing bowl on top of the oven. If the cake has been finished making then there wouldn't be that much batter left in the bowl. The tree leaves on the tree out the window look too clumped together to look like big whole pieces. Other than those things which are pretty minor, it looks wonderful.

This is just BEAUTIFUL! I love the shading and every little detail. The colors just seem to go together like this so well! I try to comment on more pictures like your but never get the change. Fantastic job. ^u^

I know this is a really weird complement, but I like how the picture on the calendar doesn't stand out, most of the time when people do that they stand out but it was really subtle here.
The way this picture moves your eyes around is perfect.

I'm not that great in critiquing anything, but these are my thoughts on it: the details are amazing, all around well colored and shaded. But I do see one problem, that being too much detail added to some of the background elements, such as the milk box and eggs, making it loose the feel of depth, just a little. Imo, you don't need to put too much detail on background element, it will look more natural and maybe cut some times you would need to spend on working on it, making it easier on yourself I guess?
